This position is for students who will be grading work for selected civil engineering courses. Student must have completed the course they will be grading with an A or B passing grade. Student must be a sophomore, junior, or senior in good standing. Hours worked will be dependent on the time needed to grade, but not to exceed 5 hours per day or 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support your assigned faculty member with grading of assignments, homework, and exams
  • Handle student documents with confidentiality and discretion
  • Communicate with faculty member(s) on grading parameters, requirements, and deadlines
  • Meet faculty timelines for grading work

Essential Job Functions:

  • Organizational skills
  • Sophomore, junior or senior in good standing
  • Attentive to faculty requirements and requests
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ethical / trustworthy
  • Ability to take instruction
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to communicate with students and faculty in a professional manner
  • Excellent knowledge of course material being graded
